BikeWear World L.L.C. and uRide

BikeWear World opened its doors in 2007 with the intention of selling bike apparel to BMX, Motocross, Mountain, Road, Spin, Track, and Triathlon enthusiasts. We moved into the store on a Saturday afternoon and noticed that the store happened to be on the busiest biking path in San Diego. After much thought, a decision was made to purchase a tiki bar and hand out water bottles to local bike riders training through the winter. The tough part was finding people to hire to help hand out water bottles. With 300 people applying and a line out the door, BikeWear World knew that it was onto something good.

Word of mouth spread quickly and BikeWear World L.L.C., or the sister station - www.uRide.tv, is now on the road to becoming the cycling industry's new way to communicate. www.uRide.tv will look forward to video sharing, new ways to find mechanics, professional athletes, race directors, coaches, training workouts, volunteers, employees, contact people in the industry, ride share, special events, race events, race highlights, sound files from talk radio, interviews, "How To" videos, press releases, gyms, pools, bike shops, magazines and much more.
